Debutando como un miembros de Tohoshinki en 2004, siendo llamado un "prodigio" por su talento natural en el canto que ha ganado mucha popularidad. Esta vez como XIAH Junsu lanzará su primer solo single Japones. Y además, una de las canciones es compuesta por el mismo Junsu! La canción contine sus pensamientos y accerca de su desafío en un musical a principios de años, incluyendo también pensamientos acerca de su solo así sucesivamente!!
---Por favor dinos acerca de "Intoxication" y "Kanashimi no Yukue" en el single que será lanzado. Qué tipo de sentimientos querias expresar a través de la canción?
A pesar que "Intoxication" es una pieza que yo mismo compuse, habia querido tratar de combinar musica oscura y RnB para hacer una canción bailable. Este es mi primero solo single en Japón, asi que usé una estilo de música que me gustó mucho. Creo que es una canción simple pero sensual y con estilo. "Kanashimi no Yukue" es como el título lo dice, usé mi propia tristeza para expresar la canción. Es como... saben que cuando los chicos tienen momentos en que estan debiles, lo muestran cierto? Es como que quería expresar eso sin rodeos ...

---Cuáles son las diferencias entre las actividades en solitario y grupales?
Lo más importante acerca de las actividades grupales es el balance. Pero con las actividades en solitario, con una persona, tienes que mantener la atención, o de lo contrario no funcionará. Es por eso que ser poderoso y dinámico es un deber. Los puntos donde tengo que poner mi poder es muy diferente, y aún no estoy muy acostumbrado a ello.

---Este año también desafiaste la actuación en un musical por primera vez, hubo alguna des-coordinación?
Fue totalmente diferente! omo pense, no puedes cantar con un sentimiento pop. Hablando lo que es diferente, es un poco difícil decirlo en palabras.... (en verdad si performas, entonces sentiras esa diferencia!) Gracias al musical, aprendí mucho, y encima de eso, me hizo realmente feliz escuchar el apasionado ánimo de los fans. Así que pensé, soy el más feliz cuando estoy sobre el escenario~

Trabajo, amor, un método de pensamiento... quiero ser un hombre que pueda sobresalir en todo. Entonces, me gustaría sellar mis oyaji gags (ríe). Si es un solo, entonces quiero competir con música!
Cuando este solo, estaré feliz haciendo estas cosas !
Tiempos de Infancia:
Por que siempre estaba con mi gemelo, Junho, siempre le jugabamos bromas a la gente. Si habia una chica que nos gustaba, derrepente la asustabamos asi que ella voltea a vernos. Ahora que recuerdo eso, me pregunto porqué hacía esas cosas, me arrepiento un poco (ríe).
Tiempos de la Escuela primaria:
Basicamente era todo fútbol! Recientemente, a veces leo de nuevo los diarios que escribí en ese entonces, y el 80% de ello era acerca de fútbol. Dormir, ir a la escuela, jugar fútbol; era solo estas tres cosas (sonrisa forzada).
Tiempo de la Escuela Secundaria:Comencé a ser un aprendiz cuando tenia 12, y ya era un estudiante de secundaria, pensando solo en cantar. Despues que naturalmente era práctica de baile. Yo en ese entonces, trabajaba realmente duro para ser un artista.
Despues de Debut:Por que fue tan difícil, practicamente no hubo tiempo para mí. Pero durante los descansos ocasionales, a veces quería dormir, o ver una película; este tipo de cosas. Si de repente había un espacio, no sabía que debía hacer.
Receintemente:Recientemente he estado ocupado componiendo. Cuando hago un canción bailable, solo la bailo también. Por que estoy solo, así que no tengo que preocuparme que otros me miren (ríe). Al final, si no escuchas la canción y solo la bailas, no funcionará.

"Kanashimi no Yukue" is just as the title states, I used my own sadness to express the song. It's like.. you know when guys have a time where they're weak and show it right? It's like I wanted to express that out straightforwardly...

---What are the differences between solo and group activities?
The most important thing about group activities is the balance. But with solo activities, with one person, you have to keep the attention, or otherwise it won't work out. That's why being powerful and dynamic is a must. The points where I have to place my power in is very different, and i'm still not too used to it.

---This year you also challenged acting in a musical for the first time, was there any dis-coordination?
It was totally different! As I thought, you can't sing with a pop feel. Talking about what's different, it's kind of hard to say it through words... (in truth if you perform, then you'll feel that difference!) Thanks to the musical, I learnt a lot, and on top of that, it made me really happy to hear the passionate cheering of the fans. As I thought, i'm the happiest when i'm on the stage~

Work, love, a thinking method.... I want to be a man who can excel in everything. Then, I would like to seal up my oyaji gags (laughs). If it's a solo, then I want to compete with music!
When i'm by myself, i'll be happy by doing these things!

Because i'm always with my twin, Junho, we always play pranks on people. If there's a girl we like, we would suddenly scare her so she would turn to look at us. Now that I think back about it, I wonder why I did those things, I regret it quite a bit (laughs).
Primary school times:
Basically it was all soccer! Recently I sometimes read back on the journals I wrote then, and 80% of it was about soccer. Sleeping, going to school, playing soccer; it was just these three things (forced smile).
High school times:
I began to be a trainee when I was 12, and I was already a high school student, thinking only of singing. After that naturally is dance practise. The me back then, worked really hard to be an artist.
After debut:
Because it was so busy, there was practically no me-time. But during the occasional break, sometimes I want to sleep, or watch a movie; these kind of things. If there's suddenly a blank, I myself didn't know what I should of done.
Recently:
Recently i've been busy composing. When making a dance song, I would just dance randomly to it too. Because i'm by myself, so I don't have to worry about others seeing me (laughs). In the end, if you don't listen the song and just dance to it, it just wouldn't work.
