Asia Pasific Music Awards 2009 Mnet Asia Music Awards (MAMA) se celebro en el Gimnasio de Jamhsil el 21 de Noviembre, las seiz hora en vivo de 17:00 a 23:00 que transmitira el 10 de los grandes paises Asiaticos, Japón, china, Tailandia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Filipinas, Macao, Indonesia y Singapur simultaneamente.
Tres miembros de TVXQ llamados, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu, y youngWoong Jaejoong, quienes estan en una disputa legal con su agencia SM Entertainment, a pesar de la desicion de su agencia de boicotear el evento anunciando su asistencia en la ceremonia de premiacion y mucho estan curiosos acerca del futuro de TVXQ.
El 21, tres miembros dijeron a traves de Mnet, "Los cinco miembros participaran en varias ceremonias de premios de fin de año internacionales como TVXQ", y "Hasta ahora nos hemos concentrado mucho en las actividades en el extranjero, por lo tanto nos sentimos apenados por todos los fans Coreanos quienes siguen esperando por nosotros."
Los tres meimbros tambien dijeron, "A traves de este festival musical, queremos saludar y dar las gracias a nuestros fans", y "Hubiera sido mejor si los cinco miembros puedieran asistir."
"Creemos que como un festival que conduce a Asia juntos a traves de la musica, la creacion de "2009 MAMA" es realmente importante." y "Como artistas coreanos que tienen actividades basadas en Asia, nos sentimos agradecidos de tener un ceremonia de premiacion asi fuera creada en Corea."
Los tres miembros de TVXQ tambien revelaron su interesante amistad atraves del discurso ganardor. La profunda amistad entre los meimbros de TVXQ fue mostrada como Junsu declaro, "Este premio no es por un solo miembros, si no por que todos los miembros han puesto mucho esfuerzo para que seamos capaces de recibirlo." y Jaejoong continuo, 2espero que muchos fans internacionales y nacionales esten viendo esto ahora mismo, tambien nuestros dos amigos quienes no vinieron esta noche, que decirles que los amo." Soy capaz que reunirme con grandiosos miembros, asi es como finalmente llegamos aqui. Trabajaremos mas duro para expandirtos mas alala de Asia. Esperamos aún mas apoyo que el de ahora."
Mnet declaró: "Como TVXQ es representante de las Estrellas de Asia, oficialmente invitamos a los cinco miembros para atender MAMA", y "Ya que ellos han decidido atender por bueno propositos, esperamos que las personas no vean su desicion de una mala manera o tenagan cualquier malentendido."
TVXQ fans who were at event location sang a TVXQ song together as commercials were playing at the end of “Act 1″ to show their love for TVXQ. They also waved their red balloons and shouted “TVXQ” to show their belief that TVXQ would remains.

[NEWS] 091121 3 TVXQ Members: "It Would Have Been Better If 5 Members Could Attend."
Asia Pasific Music Awards 2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) was held at the Jamshil Indoor Gymnasium on November 21st, the six hour live from 17:00 to 23:00 will broadcast in 10 major Asian countries Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Macau, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore simultaneously.
Three members of TVXQ namely Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu, and YoungWoong Jaejoong, who are in legal dispute with their agency SM Entertainment, regardless their agency’s decision to boycott the event announced their attendance at the awards ceremony and many are curious about the future of TVXQ.
On the 21st, the three members said through Mnet, “All five members will participate in various international awards at the end of the year as TVXQ,” and “So far we’ve been focusing a lot on overseas activities, therefore we feel sorry for all Korea fans who keep waiting for us.”
The three members also said, “Through this music festival, we want to greet and say thank you to our fans,” and “It would have been better if all five members could attend.”
“We believe that as a festival that brings Asia together through music, the creation of ‘2009 MAMA’ is really important.” and “As Korea artists that has Asia-based activities, we feel grateful to have such an awards ceremony was created in Korea.”
The three TVXQ members also revealed their interesting friendship through the winning speech. The deep friendship between the members of TVXQ was shown as Junsu stated, “This award is not for one single member, but because all 5 members have put so much effort we are able to receive it.” and Jaejoong continued, “I’m hoping that many international and local fans are watching this right now also our two friends who don’t come tonight, as I want to say that I love you.” he referred to the absence of U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin.
In addition, related to their current conflict, Micky Yoochun vaguely express his feeling through this chance, “I think this is the first time I’ve wanted to sing so badly. I’m able to meet great members, that’s how finally we get here. We will work harder to expand beyond Asia. We hope for even more support than now.”
